Suryanarayana Charitable Trust
Who We Are Established on August 13, 2001, the Suryanarayana Charitable Trust has been a beacon of hope and development in the Udupi district for over two decades. Rooted in the serene village of Puttige, we are a non-profit organization driven by the belief that true service lies in the holistic upliftment of society—from the soil we farm to the souls we nurture.
Our Vision To build a self-reliant, healthy, and culturally vibrant society where every individual—regardless of age or background—has the opportunity to thrive.
What We Do Our work is diverse, yet our goal is singular: community welfare. We operate across four key pillars:
Rural Development & Agriculture: We are committed to alleviating poverty by supporting local agriculture and implementing rural development projects that improve the quality of life in our villages.
Education & Youth Empowerment: We believe the youth are our future. Through skill development programs, literacy initiatives, and the promotion of sports, we aim to channel the energy of the youth toward constructive nation-building.
Health & Elderly Care: Compassion is at our core. We focus on family welfare, health awareness, and providing dignity and care for the aged and elderly members of our community.
Culture & Spirituality: We strive to preserve our rich heritage by supporting art, culture, and religious activities that foster peace and spiritual well-being.
Our Journey From our humble beginnings at Aashrodaya Kuteera in 2001, we have grown into a trusted institution in Karnataka. We continue to walk the path of service, hand in hand with the community we serve.
